We can help book mountain huts for you, there is an additional cost involved for this service.

 

Booking mountain huts in Japan can be unnecessarily complex, often they don't answer the phone, most lack availability online, and liaising on behalf of the guest can be quite time-consuming.

​In addition, sometimes guests will spend a lot of time liaising with us to confirm the dates and huts, but then change their plans and cancel, so now we require membership before responding to these requests.

Admin Cost

$40              = ​One hut booking

$20 to $30  = Additional hut bookings (depends on admin time)

Independent Mountain Hut Cost
$100 = Average cost per night for most huts

$25   = Average price for optional meals (breakfast/dinner)

If you wish to avoid our admin costs, you can ask the tourist info centres to make the calls for you, most will be happy to help. However, if not booked in advance there's a high chance they'll be booked out.
