"The Zen hotel provided one of the most unique hospitality experiences I've ever had, the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in - well worth the money! Bath with hot springs on the balcony were wonderful, big enough for two people, and we could even see Fuji from the bath. Food was also amazing, every meal was a luxurious restaurant experience, with over 10 courses for dinner and almost 7 courses for breakfast. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and were so quick to pick us up from the bus stop when we arrived."

"This place is incredible. We had never stayed in a ryokan before, but Yoshimatsu exceeded all our expectations. It's located close to a number of transport links for the Hakone area, so it's a good base to explore. It's set back from the main road and is peaceful. The rooms are spacious and traditional, but with modern comforts. The tatami mats were very pleasant to walk on. The multi-course kaiseki dinner was incredible - beautifully presented traditional dishes served in the comfort of your own room. They went above and beyond to accommodate my wife who doesn't eat meat. The onsens are beautiful and relaxing. The staff here are super kind and their attention to detail is impeccable. I really can't recommend this place enough."
